Hiccup Haddock is a stubborn boy who just wants to know why his friends keep disappearing. According to lore, it is said that on dark, silent nights when it snows, Jack Frost will steal away children to play with…. Now Hiccup wants to know where they have been taken.

Just a Paranorman AU with Jack as a Malevolent spirit who takes children into the forest to disappear because he is jealous and lonely so he makes them play and dance for him.
Hiccup is one of the only five people who can talk to him (along with Norman, Coraline, Merida and Rapunzel, but the other four were taken by Jack) and has to persuade him out of his wrath, because once the children stop coming into the forest, he gets angry and tries to destroy all the adults in the village.
